Guarantee
Once a bat leaves our workshop, it becomes subject to natural wear and tear through regular use. Willow, by its nature, is a softwood that provides optimal rebound properties for striking the ball, but it can only endure a limited amount of stress. The lifespan of a bat depends on the frequency of use rather than the length of ownership; for example, a bat used daily will deteriorate significantly faster than one used occasionally. For advice on extending the life of your bat, please refer to the Bat Care section of our website.
Returns & Warranty
For details on product returns and warranty terms, please visit the Warranty section of our website.
Bat Weight
The quoted weight of a Rehmani bat includes a single grip and toe guard before any stickers or branding are applied. Please note that additional accessories, such as extra grips or an anti-scuff sheet, will increase the bat’s weight. Furthermore, due to the hygroscopic nature of wood, the bat’s weight may fluctuate depending on atmospheric conditions. Most players prioritize the bat’s “pick-up” feel over its precise weight; however, if weight is critical to you, please verify that you are satisfied with the bat before using it.
MCC Law on Cricket Bat Size
The updated MCC regulations on cricket bat dimensions, effective from October 2017 for professional cricket, state that bats must not exceed 108mm in width, 67mm in spine height, and 40mm in edge thickness.
These regulations followed consultations with bat manufacturers, the Federation of International Cricketers’ Associations, the International Cricket Council, the MCC World Cricket Committee, umpiring associations, and other governing bodies to maintain the balance between bat and ball.
The restrictions currently apply only to professional cricket; amateur players may continue to use oversized bats for the time being. However, certain leagues may impose similar restrictions in the future. It is your responsibility to confirm with your league whether these regulations apply before purchasing a bat.
